Temporary Full Time (until June 2019)
Site: Brampton
37.5 hours per week
Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager, the Clinical Services Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of EOK clinical services at the designated site.  The CSS provides leadership to a multi-disciplinary site specific team, supervises new and existing staff, assists with clinical workload management, outcome measures, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of assigned site team;
  • Organize clinical caseloads and staff schedules to meet the needs of the site & promote integrated service delivery model;
  • Maximize the use of available resources, identify and address staff complement needs, in conjunction with Human Resources;
  • Provide management & coaching support to team members, engaging Human Resources as appropriate;
  • Interface with CLASS department to facilitate operational processes at site;
  • Ensure annual and probationary performance reviews are completed for all staff;
  • Collaborate with the COM to meet benchmarks for operational efficiencies;
  • Facilitate resolutions to work issue and monitors operational/clinical activities to ensure performance objectives are met;
  • Provide opportunities and supports staff education and development to ensure annual learning plans are developed for employees;
  • Participate in the recruitment process for site specific clinical staff;
  • Assist in the delivery of the site specific on-boarding process, and set performance expectations of new staff;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures;
  • All other reasonable duties as assigned and identified by the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in health related discipline;
  • Active registration with appropriate professional College preferred;
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience at ErinoakKids;
  • 3-5 years of clinical supervision experience;
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written);
  • Proven experience in motivating and leading people;
  • Flexible, organized and self directed within scope of responsibility;
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task;
  • Sound understanding of documentation standards;
  • Ability to function collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team;
  • Demonstrated awareness of and adherence to professional and ethical standards;
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution & problem solving skills;
  • Computer literate, with Meditech and MS Office skills required;
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
